Founded in 2021 by Joe Dowling, a former technician at Toi o Tāmaki, Auckland Art Gallery, Art Corp combines years of expertise in art handling, installation, and transportation.

As the director of Art Corp, Joe brings extensive experience from his work in galleries, institutions, and private residences. He began his career with two years at FOAM Amsterdam, followed by five years at Toi o Tāmaki, where he worked for three years on exhibition installations. During this time, he also worked with private clients, specializing in residential collection installations. Joe was later selected as one of three technicians responsible for the relocation of the Auckland Art Gallery’s collection, overseeing the careful planning, preparation, and transport of around 20,000 artworks to a new institutional storage facility.

Today, Art Corp is a full-service fine art transport and installation company. Every member of the team undergoes comprehensive training and is actively involved in their own creative practice, which fosters a deep understanding of the artworks they handle and a refined aesthetic sensibility.
